On Sunday 17th November The Sally Gartell Academy of Dance will once again be taking part in the performers project annual Tapathon raising funds for Children in Need as well as trying to break a world record for most people dancing the choreographed tap routine on the same day at the same time at different venues across the UK. The current record is 7596 persons
You don’t have to be a member of our dance school to take part all I ask is that you have a few spare hours and lots of enthusiasm. I ask that students are at least 5 years old but there is no maximum age!!!
So girls and boys, mums and dads, old and young come and get involved.
When
We will be having a registration day on Saturday 5th October at 1.15pm in the Montgomery Activity Centre then from 1.30-2.30 we will be learning the routine.
The official Tapathon will be at 1.00pm on Sunday 17th November at Montgomery Town Hall participants need to arrive by 12.15pm.
Cost
The cost is £12 which covers the price of the t shirt and a small £2 fee towards all hall costs.
